Seedalina Fill — Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 21, 2026
Seedalina Fill is a browser extension that helps testers fill web forms with synthetic test data generated by a Seedalina instance the user configures.
What the extension stores
The extension stores the following locally, in the browser's ownchrome.storage.local. It is never stored on a server operated by Seedalina or its developers:
- API URL — the address of the Seedalina instance you point the extension at.
- JWT token — the authentication token you paste in from your Seedalina instance.
- Extension preferences — for example, generator language, floating-button position and state, and environment selection. These contain no personal data.
This data stays on your device and is never transmitted to us. The extension talks only to the Seedalina instance URL you configure.
What the extension transmits, and to whom
The extension sends requests only to the API URL you configure in Settings, carrying the JWT token you provided. These requests fetch templates, environments, and pooled test entities; request generated synthetic field values; and read and fill form fields on the active page using the CSS selectors in your templates.
No data is sent to third parties. The extension contains no analytics, telemetry, or tracking.
Page content access
The extension requests broad host permissions because it fills forms in the third-party application a tester is currently testing. It only reads or writes form field values via CSS selectors you define; it does not read page content beyond that. It never reads or fills password fields and never auto-submits forms.
Data retention and deletion
You can clear all stored data — API URL, token, and preferences — at any time by removing the extension or using your browser's extension-data controls. Uninstalling the extension removes all locally stored data.
