Use the browser extension

The Seedalina browser extension brings templates and synthetic field values into the application under test. It recognizes the page you are on, offers the matching template, fills the mapped fields, and saves what you created back into the entity pool.

Connect the extension

Open the extension settings and enter the API URL for your Seedalina instance, along with a JWT from that instance. Those values are stored locally in your browser.

The extension knows where you are

Templates carry URL and title patterns in their Browser Capture tab. When the current page matches, the extension selects that template automatically — no scrolling through the catalog on every form. A manual template picker remains available as a fallback for unmapped pages.

Generate, fill, capture

Choose an environment, then let the extension request synthetic values from your Seedalina instance and fill the mapped fields — one by one or all at once. Fields appear in the same order as in the template, and password-like values are masked in the popup. Once the application has accepted the data, the captured result is saved to the entity pool as a new entry.

Map fields without leaving the page

The built-in mapper lets you author capture definitions directly on the page: pick the fields, name their outputs, and save. The mapping lands in the template's Browser Capture tab, alongside any automated steps the template already has — a page can carry several captures for different screens.

Add entries by hand

Not everything needs a form. The extension can also record manual entries straight into the entity pool when the data already exists in the target system.
